This is the 2001 updated grinds now available from Engle Cams. They are shown as single list of grinds

from these lists you can configure your own grind such as to which intake lobe you want, with which

exhaust you want with it and how you want it ground as to lobe separation and advance or retard ground

into your cam. Everything on this flier is a custom ground cam to your requirement. The long awaited new

catalog is forthcoming with these shapes listed in catalog form with part numbers, descriptions, popular

combinations that will be stocked. As for now please call we will custom grind you a new latest technology

cam ground to your own requirement, or asks our tech department for a recommendation for your application using these new shapes.

The EP-Series is the very latest technology in asymmetrical flat tappet cam lobe designs, in both Hydraulic and Solid profiles.

These profiles are designed for engines using a 1.5 & 1.6 to 1 rocker arm ratio. Small block chevy, ford, chrysler, olds, pontiac.

How to order from this list of profiles is decide which Intake profile you want, with the same profile or a different one on the

exhaust. Then what lobe separation do you want, and whether the cam will be ground with advance or retard ground into the cam. An example order would be (1 EP-40/43HYD 112° ground 2° advanced) for a small block chevy 350. This will be the EP-40HYD lobe on the Intake with the EP-43HYD on the exhaust, 112° lobe separation, ground 2° advanced from split.

An example of a race cam would be (1 EP-60 106° ground 4° advanced for a 302 Ford) This will be the EP-60 Solid on both

intake and exhaust, a single pattern cam ground with 106° of lobe separation and with 4° advance ground into the cam for a Ford.

These are just examples of how to order, please specify what engine you have, and which lobes you want ground into your

Ultra Velocity cams are maximum effort flat tappet cam profiles designed for use with .842" diameter lifter size. They are not intended for street or service use. They are aggressive and for RACING ONLY! NO WARRANTY GIVEN OR IMPLIED. They were also designed for engines that have a 1.5 to 1 or 1.6 to 1 rocker arm ratio. Not intended for 1.7 to 1 or higher rocker arms. This is a list of profiles and is to be custom ground to customer requirements as to intake and exhaust lobe choice, lobe separation, And advance or retard ground into each cam. We can grind these profiles on any available cam blanks, V-8, V-6, Inline engines etc using .842" diameter or larger lifter. Chevrolet, Ford, Oldsmobile, Mopar, Pontiac, Toyota, VW Etc. An Example order as follows = 1 UV-24/UV-26 on 108° Ground +2° for a small block chevy. This will be the UV-24 lobe on the Intake with the UV-26 lobe

on the Exhaust, ground on 108° lobe separation for a small block chevy, ground 2° advanced from split.

The GHR & XLHR-Series cams are Hydraulic Rollers that are the very latest technology in performance cam design. Utilizing the INVERSE FLANK on the opening ramp with a conventional flank on the closing ramp of the cam lobe. The result is very high acceleration off the seat with a more gentle down side for better valve dynamics, more rpm capability, plus much more power overall with more area under the lift curve. These profiles are also to be custom ground to customer requirements as to intake and exhaust lobe choice, lobe separation, and advance or retard that is ground into each cam. These cams are ground on new steel billet cores that are available to us Chevrolet , Chrysler, Ford etc. The Chevrolet cores now come with the option of having a Cast Iron Gear pressed on the steel billet so you can use the stock steel distributor drive gear, instead of bronze. An example order would be 1 GHR-212/218HYD 112° + 2° for a Chevy 350 with an Iron gear core. This will be the GHR-212HYD lobe on the Intake with the GHR-218HYD on the Exhaust ground on 112° of lobe separation also ground 2° of advance in the cam. Ground on an early chevy steel billet core with the iron distributor drive gear. This is a good example of a what would be recommended for a street engine.
